FTA recently announced change in FTA login process. Starting September 2024, taxable persons can login to Emaratax Dashboard using only UAEPass authentication process.
It involves few steps to complete in given scenarios. How to approach the linking process, it depends on one scenario in hand. The process is simple, follow the steps explain below.
Scenario-1:
You have Emarata Tax and UAEPASS accounts and registered email IDs on both are same.
· Login to Emaratax using UAEPASS option https://eservices.tax.gov.ae/#/Logon.
· Enter your email ID or mobile number or Emirates ID to login.
· You will be prompted on UAEPASS App to authenticate.
· Emratatax account is now successfully linked with UAEPASS.
· System will divert you to Emaratax to login, use UAEPASS and login and you will be on your business dashboard.
Scenario-2:
You have Emarata Tax and UAEPASS accounts but registered email IDs are different.
· Login to Emaratax using UAEPASS option https://eservices.tax.gov.ae/#/Logon.
· Enter your email ID or mobile number or Emirates ID to login.
· You will be prompted on UAEPASS App to authenticate.
· The click YES to link your account to UAEPASS.
· System will prompt you to input your registered email ID and password with Emaratax, input both and click Send OTP.
· System will send OTP on you registered email ID with Emaratax, Input the OTP and click next/update.
· You are now linked with UAEPASS, system will log you out, go back to Emaratax and log in using UAEPASS, you will be logged in to your business Emaratax dashboard.
Scenario-3:
You do not have account with Emarata Tax and have UAEPASS account.
· Login to Emaratax using UAEPASS option https://eservices.tax.gov.ae/#/Logon.
· Enter your email ID or mobile number or Emirates ID to login.
· On successful login, click NO to link Emaratax profile to UAEPASS.
· Your Emaratax account will automatically be created.
· Go back to Emaratax, login using UAEPASS and complete the required field of first name, last name and other required input and complete your profile on Emaratax.
· You are all done.
· If you still want to login using email ID on Emaratax, click on login using email.
· Input the same email ID which is registered email ID with UAEPASS.
· Click Forget password.
· System will send you password on the same email ID.
· Input the password and login, system will prompt change the password.
· Input new password and you are done.
· Next time you can still login using UAEPASS without going through the linkage process as you account was created via UAEPASS already.
· You are all done.
Scenario-4:
You have account with Emarata Tax but do not have UAEPASS account.
· Create and account with UAEPASS https://uaepass.ae/ using your email (business or personal), mobile number, Emirates ID.
· Once account has been created, to link the Emaratax with newly created UEPASS account, please repeat the steps mentioned under scenario1 or scenario2 as the case maybe.
